What Is the Ayushman Card?
The Ayushman card allows eligible citizens to access cashless medical treatment in over 25,000 government and private hospitals. It covers hospital stays, surgeries, medicines, and diagnostics for listed procedures.

Eligibility is determined based on the SECC 2011 data.
Rural Households
- No adult male (16–59) in the household
- Manual laborers, landless families
- Disabled members with no able-bodied adult

How to Apply Online
- Visit pmjay.gov.in
- Click on “Am I Eligible?”

- Upload documents and complete Aadhaar eKYC
- Download your Ayushman card
How to Apply Offline
Go to the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) with your documents. The CSC operator will verify your eligibility and issue the card after biometric authentication.
